SUN GAZING

Sun gazing is an ancient practice that helps to reset your circadian rhythm.

This is a deeply restorative practice for the nervous system.

Traditional Heilo Therapy is the practice of working with light (the sun) at specific times of the day to support different organs, meridians, emotions, heal from disease, etc.

The version of this practice I incorporate into my daily routine is morning/evening sun gazing to nourish my pineal gland, activate my life force and commune with the element of fire/will within myself.

I offer reverence to the sun and typically do a dance offering as well.

My hand is up in this photo as I will also hold my hands to the sun (your hands have actual photo-receptors in them that absorb the light) and this light supports our bodies in the most miraculous ways.

Here are a few things I’ve noticed within myself from regular sun time:
• Increased focus
• Better sleep
• Increased se# drive
• Joy increases
• Has healed rashes in the past for me
• An overall awareness of unity

A few things to note while sun gazing:
• The first few hours as the sun rises and as the sun sets are the best times to sun gaze as the light is much softer.
• Exposing yourself to sun in increments as the summer arrives will help the pigment in your skin not burn and develop a base tan. ex: start for 15 min then 30 and so on. (not about gazing but important for your relationship to the sun)
• Work your Drishti (soft gaze open eyes - allow yourself to be receptive to the light coming into your field).

Thank you SUN ☀️
Because of you their is life on this planet 🌎
I honor and respect the light of your embodiment.
Enjoy ☀️
